My Testimony (about me)

I was born and raised in a Christian home in the South. I grew up Baptist until I was 10 and we moved to a spirit-filled church. I was filled with the Holy Spirit when I was 12 and was on fire for God. Then.... I met a boy. He was also on fire for God and we served in the church together. Then he went through alot of family issue and left the church for about 6 months. When he came back, he had done drugs and was hanging out with some interesting people. Because I loved him, I chose him and hanging out with with his friends over God. Soon I was hanging out with drug dealers, pot-heads and I was bringing them to church! The problem was... I wasn't evanagelizing to them, they were influencing me. I brought them to church and right under our youth pastor's nose, none of us were really saved and we just played church for a couple hours each week and then we could go out and do whatever.

When I was 16 I came to Arizona to "get away from my parents". What I didn't know was that by getting away from them, I was getting right where God wanted me to be. The first week I was in Arizona for Spiritual Boot Camp in 2001 God wrecked my little world. From a life of knowing about God, I got to know God. From that moment, I knew that ministry was where my heart was and I wanted to move to Arizona to get started right away.

After going back home, my parents were not thrilled with the idea of me moving across the country. They decided I should finish high school first. After running from God and getting knocked back on my knees again, I moved to Arizona in 2003 to be a part of Elijah Generation (a 9 month school of ministry). I did that for 2 years and went out into the workforce. It wasn't long before I couldn't stand being away from ministry and I was offered a position in ministry- I took it right away. I now have learned so much! I know that God is preparing me for the next level!
